FAQ

Massage - Session

I like to describe the experience of my massages as follows:

A 90-minute massage is like a short journey: a chance to relax, breathe deeply, and reconnect with your body.
A two-hour massage, on the other hand, is like a deeper journey – a more immersive and intensive experience.

During the two-hour massage, I use a wider variety of techniques and spend more time and attention on each area of the body. This enables the massage to unfold more individually and invites a deeper state of relaxation. It creates space for a more conscious and holistic connection with yourself.

You can find detailed information about the Holistic Body Massage, Lomi Lomi Massage, Taoist Abdominal Massage and Tuina Wellness massage as well as the unique features of each, on their respective massage pages. Simply select the name of the massage to learn more.

Each session begins with a brief introductory chat where we discuss how you are feeling and what you need that day.
The massage itself takes place in a calm and mindful atmosphere, allowing you to relax completely, let go and reconnect with your body.
Afterwards, you will have time to rest quietly, giving the effects of the massage time to settle in.

This depends on the type of massage, but you will always be covered up to some extent. Your intimate areas will always be covered and never touched.

Yes. After each session, there is a short rest period to allow your body to integrate the massage at its own pace and experience its full effects.
This transforms your massage into a holistic experience, bringing your body, mind and soul into harmony, and the effects continue to unfold long after the session has ended.

You will enjoy a gentle cleansing ritual at the end of each massage, which will refresh you and revitalise your body and mind, leaving you feeling energised throughout your day.

Good to Know

No.
I support people wholeheartedly through my holistic, traditional approach to bodywork. My approach is supportive and mindful, guided by breathwork and tailored to the individual, with a focus on wellbeing. My intention is to promote harmony between body, mind and soul.

My sessions are intended exclusively for relaxation, general well-being and holistic support. They are not a form of medical treatment and do not claim to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. They are also not intended as a substitute for professional medical advice or diagnosis.

For this reason, it is not possible to use a prescription or medical referral. My services cannot be claimed through or reimbursed by health insurance providers.

If you have any health concerns or medical conditions, please consult your doctor or another qualified healthcare professional before booking a session.

Unfortunately not, as massages for pregnant women are not currently part of my services. Thank you for your understanding.
However, I look forward to providing you with a soothing postnatal massage to help you relax and feel well.

Before booking a Taoist Belly Massage – Chi Nei Tsang massage, please take a moment to read the blog article:

Chi Nei Tsang Abdominal Massage.”

Simply select the article title above to access all the essential information before your session.

There you will find important information about whom this massage is suitable for, when it is not recommended, how to prepare for your session, what to do afterwards, and other recommendations to help you enjoy the best possible experience.

It’s important to give your body enough time to integrate the effects of the massage and allow them to unfold naturally.

If possible, avoid scheduling any stressful appointments immediately afterwards and listen to your body. You can also support your body’s natural recovery by drinking plenty of water or herbal tea.

To help your body benefit fully from your massage, I recommend the following:
– Avoid strenuous exercise immediately after your session and choose gentle movement instead, such as a relaxing walk.
– Eat light, easily digestible meals.
– Drink plenty of water or herbal tea.
– Wait approximately 30–60 minutes before taking a warm shower.

Treat yourself to some rest and warmth, and allow yourself a calm, mindful transition back into your day. Your body will continue to process and integrate the positive effects of the massage even after the session has ended.

Everyone responds differently. You may feel deeply relaxed, gently energised, or even a little tired. All of these responses are perfectly normal and part of your body’s natural integration process.

Based on my experience and what my trainers have taught me, a lasting effect is only achieved with a massage lasting more than an hour. The body needs at least 30 minutes to relax, and a further five minutes at the end of the massage to ‘process’ the new sensations. This is why I offer massages lasting 90 minutes or more.
For a particularly deep and relaxing experience, I recommend a two-hour massage.
