I have developed a unique holistic, full-body massage method that combines various techniques, including traditional Thai massage, Tok Sen, Tao and Tuina (wellness TCM), as well as Lomi Lomi.
This body massage is an intensive, deep and holistic treatment that focuses on energy pathways (Sen-meridians), providing relaxation and relief. This helps release tension and harmonise the muscular structure.
The session involves conscious breathing techniques to help relax and recharge the body and mind.
Awaraness of the breath deepens mindfulness and presence, helping to release tension and soften muscle knots. It may also support lowering blood pressure, improving oxygen flow to the brain, reducing muscle tension, regulating adrenaline levels, and strengthering the immune system.
A distinctive aspect of my massage is its full-body approach: the treatment begins at the feet – where the body´s reflex zones are located – and flows all the way up to the head.
In the 90-minute session, the focus is on the back, neck, shoulders, lower back and sacrum.
In 120-minute session, the experience unfolds more fully, allowing the legs to be included more deeply and extensively.
In this way, the unique quality of the massage unfolds – a harmonious interplay of presence, intuition, and energy, often experienced as deeply nurturing and almost magical.
The massage is performed using warm almond oil and Thai herbal balm, with flowing movements of the hands, forearms, elbows, and thumbs (acupressure) – complemented by Tok Sen und Gua Sha as needed.
- Tok Sen: is the so-called “jewel of Thai massage”. This technique is more than 2500 years old. A special small wooden hammer is tapped along the Sen energy lines; allowing the muscles, tendons and the nervous system to relax. The rhythmic tapping of this special tool is very effective, therefore Tok Sen can also have a surprising effect such as stress reduction, as it helps the parasympathetic nervous system, thus creating a state of calm and relaxation within the body.
- Gua Sha: promotes blood flow and nourishment of the tissues. It is an ancient treatment technique deriving from traditional Chinese medicine, which is especially effective for cervical tension and back pain, as well as to detoxify the body.
- Each massage is adapted to the needs of each individual person.
